Describe a situation in which the point-slope form is more useful than the slope-intercept form.

OpenStudy (rulnick):

Easy. Many problems (in textbooks and in the real world) ask to find the equation of a line with a particular slope through a certain point. When given the slope and a point, the "point-slope" form is the easiest to use. Given point (a,b) and slope m, the equation is y-b = m (x-a).
