has anyone got acces or knows how derive the sketch of a derivative? for example if you were given an equation and its graph (with it already drawn on) and you were asked to draw the derivative of that equation on the same graph without using the equation, just figuring it out by appearance only

make a bunch of small intervals along the x axis (smaller the better) and estimate the slope of f(x) in each interval and plot that value
