get invers from f(x) = x^3 / x^2 + 1

sam (.sam.):

OpenStudy (ash2326):

We have \[f(x)= \frac{x^3}{x^2}+1 \] it can be written as \[ f(x)=x+1\] write x as \(f^{-1}(x)\) we get \[ f(f^{-1}(x))=f^{-1}(x)+1\] we know that \[f(f^{-1}(x))= x\] so \[x=f^{-1} (x)+1\] or \[f^{-1} (x)=x-1\]
