you seem to have gotten close, but I'm guessing you messed up on distribution, probably because of the minus sign Notice how that gets fixed by using the fact that\[-(a-b)=b-a\]\[\frac{(6x+10)(3x-1)-(3x^2-9)(x^2+1)}{(x^2+1)(3x-1)}\]\[\frac{(6x+10)(3x-1)+(9-3x^2)(x^2+1)}{(x^2+1)(3x-1)}\]\[\frac{(6x)(3x)-(6x)+(10)(3x)-10+9x^2-9-3x^2(x^2)-3x^2}{(x^2)(3x)-x^2+3x-1}\]
