i really need help in how to graph and solve Linear Inequalities. Example; y < -4x + 3 (less than sign has underscore under it)

OpenStudy (bahrom7893):

less than or equal to.. that's what it means.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeahh^

OpenStudy (bahrom7893):

for that just graph y = -4x+3, since it's less than or EQUAL to, the line will be solid

OpenStudy (bahrom7893):

and then shade the lower left side

OpenStudy (anonymous):

why the left side?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and do i need to plug in something for x or y?
