PLEASE HELP AND EXPLAIN! A line passes through the points (1, 2) and (4,4). What is the slope of the line? 1/4 2/3 3/2 4/1

OpenStudy (mertsj):

Slope is rise divided by run. So find the rise from (1,2) to (4,4) which is 4-2 or 2 Now find the run which is 4-1 or 3. So rise over run is 2/3 and two-thirds is your slope.

That makes a lot of sense. Thank you!
