well distance is a vector right so it has a magnitute. therefore, the graph should just continously increase. u cant actually b precise because you do not know the time it takes

Distance is not a vector, displacement is. Therefore, assuming the leash was taught, the distance vs time graph would be a straight line with a slope of zero. |dw:1329975771774:dw|
