The lateral surface area is the circumference times the height. 7pi(11) or 77pi The surface area is the lateral surface area plus the two bases. The 2 bases are circles and their area is pi(7/2)^2 and there are two of them so the total area of the two circles is 2(49/4)pi or (49/2)pi. Add that to the lateral surface area and you have the total surface area of the cylinder.
