2Cos(x)*(-Sin(x))
\[y=(\cos(x))^2\]
Are there any other forms? I thought there were some formulas to memorize. I used the product rule (cos(x)) (cos(x)) or I used the chain rule
Power rule [(f(x))^a] ' = a*(f(x))^(a-1)*f '(x)
thanks :)
