sam (.sam.):

1/2 r^2 theta

OpenStudy (anonymous):

its C right?

sam (.sam.):

D because radius =6.25 theta=0.436

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ohh /: this is hard

sam (.sam.):

to find theta for any degrees, divide 180 then multiply pi

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thanks

I think there's an easier way to do this... but maybe it's the same as sam, and I'm just writing things out simpler.

Find the area of the circle, and then find the percentage of the area the shaded region takes up (25/360) now take the percentage and multiply it by the area, and you get the right answer :)

sam (.sam.):

But i just use 1 formula only, lol :D
