Can anybody suggest a good Android Development book. I know Java, and tried with the videos online, then realized i needed a book. Thanks in advance!

I haven't found a great one. The resources at http://developer.android.com might be more helpful. Android changes so fast that books go out of date really quickly. If you already know Java, the Android Developer Center is the best place to start.
