What is the slope of a line that passes through the point (-2, 3) and is parallel to a line that passes through (3, 7) and (-2, -8)?

OpenStudy (bahrom7893):

Okay slopes of parallel lines are the same so u just gotta figure out the slope of the 2nd line

OpenStudy (bahrom7893):

M = (-8-7)/(-2-3) = -15/-5 = 3

OpenStudy (bahrom7893):

So slope is 3

thanks :))
