Use polynomial long division to divide -9x3 – 18x2 – 11x – 2 by -3x2 – 5x – 2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

this would be easier if I could talk to you :I let me work it out for ya

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok ty

OpenStudy (anonymous):

No problem, but it will take a bit sorry xD

OpenStudy (anonymous):

almost done, just have to scan :D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I hope this helps :D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I understand it but how do i write it out to show my steps?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

exactly like I did, except the parts that I did - (-3x^2) you could just put plus. You could always write it how I did, which show all the steps in more length than needed

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sorry im confused now

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Okay. I'm sorry I confused you xD. You see this:|dw:1330053438170:dw| When I put the negative on the outside, I did it so that you wouldn't confused as to how a negative became a positive.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Where are you confused? Which part

OpenStudy (anonymous):

its not that im confused on how to write it out with the keyboard

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh. like this 3x-1 -------------- -3x^2 -5x -2 l -9x^3-18x^2-11x-1 +9x^3+15x^2 +6 3x^2 -5x-2 - 3x^2 +5x +2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok i see now

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sorry kinda got lost for a while i got it now

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Okay :D I'll be on if you have anymore questions. Good Luck!
