Can you be more specific? Are you asking what type of precipitation falls in cold places? Or what happens to the rain/snow/hail,etc.?
im asking the type of precipitation that falls in cold places.
Rain, sleet , Snow, Diamond dust (only in really cold places at -40 deg. Celsius)

how about a glacier
A glacier is the buildup of too much precipitation when the amount of snow exceeds its capacity to melt/evaporate fast enough.
