O.K. - roughly draw 3 triangles:- 1. Centre to 3" upwards on radius (on the left). 2. Same but to the right 3. One from the centre upwards, 2 sides 6" long - I think you will need to draw a diagram to get the angle right & cosine rule gives you the area!!!!!!!!!!!!
