- Group creation is disabled for non-admins, and non-official groups are no longer listed in group search. You can still get to all non-official groups by using their URI, and if you're in them you'll still be in them and have them listed in your dropdown.

- Some backend changes in how we handle builds. This just makes us happier and doesn't reflect on you at all, except it was the reason we had that hiccup when deploying.

Mentions yield links, and notifications. You'll find some new settings in your notification settings regarding who you get notified about when they mention you.

Most notably, you can limit it so you only find out if someone you're a fan of mentions you, which I anticipate some superstars like say @myininaya, @amistre64 and @satellite73 will probably want to use.

Oh look, a slight issue with our parser hehe. Also worth mentioning, this is mostly the work of @farmdawgnation with some collaboration from @mattfeury , design all by @darthsid as usual, and the fact that it's not super-incredibly buggy is thanks to @msayer3 . Enjoy!

So some notes on the matching for @ mentions...

You can either have the follow with a colon or a space. So
@asnaseer:
will work but
@asnaseer.
won't, because periods are valid pieces of usernames.

We'll be working on a way to try and streamline that, if possible in the future.

As already mentioned by shadow, you can select to get ping notifications only from the people you fan. You can keep track of the people you fan from the new fancy dropdown next to the notifications!

Right, to change your ping settings just go to "Settings" and click "Notification Settings"... you'll find all the controls for whose mentions will trigger a notification there.
