OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (bahrom7893):

putting an equation into MS WORD isn't hard. Which version of Office do you have?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Pls see/understand my requirement... I do not want to know how to put equations here om Openstudy...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I have the version which comes with WINDOWS 7

OpenStudy (bahrom7893):

Is is it office 2010?

OpenStudy (bahrom7893):

You will have to click on Insert, Equation, etc..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thanks bahrom, I checked on it.... can we make our own equations in it??

OpenStudy (bahrom7893):

yes we can

OpenStudy (bahrom7893):

On the bottom, there's this option called Insert New Equation

I teach a student online in the US and need something which can be used as we proceed... Right now I am using Math Input Panel but it is a little difficult to handle...

OpenStudy (bahrom7893):

well typing out equations in the word is a pain, but inserting new equation is the only thing i can think of. What I usually do is write out solutions and then scan them.. like here: http://www.wordpress.com/bahrom7893

OpenStudy (bahrom7893):

woops sorry wrong link: http://bahrom7893.wordpress.com

OpenStudy (anonymous):

that's the sameeeeeeeeeee...

OpenStudy (bahrom7893):

what's the same?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the link bro..

OpenStudy (bahrom7893):

the first one doesn't work :/

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Sorry to ask so many questions but I have to write as I talk and explain the concept so pre-written notes are not sufficient/good enough

OpenStudy (bahrom7893):

Ohhh.. then I guess find something like what the guy on khanacademy does..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I had bought a e-pad but it was waste of money...... Despite many tries I cud not train it to read my handwriting.... It failed to convert my written notes into WORD docs properly....

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Use Daum Equation Editor. You can get it for free as an app on google chrome. I would give you the website, but I don't remember it. You can create the equation on there, save it to your computer, then insert it into a word document. It works wonders for me!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thanks....let me check

OpenStudy (anonymous):

your welcome!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Did it help at all?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes, I have downloaded it but it seems same as the editor provided with Office 7
