Given f(x) is continuous on the interval [-2,3] lim x->3^+ f(x)=-1 & lim x->3^- f(x)=4 what is f(3)?

OpenStudy (rulnick):

f(3) = 4

... continuity on [-2,3] means continuity left of 3, so the limit as x approaches 3^- is the value at 3
