The diameter of a circle is 3.5 inches. What is the circumference of the circle? .....38.5?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

pir^2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Circumference is given by 2(pi) (radius) = (pi)(diameter)= pi * 3.5= 11 inches. pi r^2 is for area of a circle.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

2*pi*r will get you the answer. 2r is the diameter so you already have that part. Just multiply by pi.

I solved it....turned out to be 11in
