There's a self-explanatory issue in the post below. I'm pretty sure you guys already know of it, but still.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Wat?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What's wrong? You would better describe it instead writing oh that's obvious because I don't see anything. However I may guess that you may not like kick button on Preetha? If yes it's ok because you are highest level in group so you are mod and kick anyone, but it will be logged. I can't see anything else.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well, first, why is being the highest level in the group making me a mod? Second, why can one mod kick another mod? Also, why is Preetha on but never in chat? :(

OpenStudy (trancenova):

Being the highest level in a group makes you a mod because sometimes when there are no mods around (a bit less rare now) some posts or users still need to be dealt with, hence the kick function. I think the one mod kick another mod may be a glitch, i'll let shadow answer that. Preetha is 'never' in chat because she is really really busy doing awesome things for Open Study :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I understand. Preetha is the hero OpenStudy deserves, and the one it needs right now. :'(

OpenStudy (trancenova):

What do you mean the one it needs right now, do you feel something has happened? And yeah she is a hero :D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It's a reference to a movie. Batman, no less. Because that's who Preetha probably is.

OpenStudy (trancenova):

Lol! I see

OpenStudy (anonymous):

having kick button on mod is not glitch, of course it probably won't be used unless for fun so yeah it may be just removed from mods, but only global mods

OpenStudy (shadowfiend):

We tend to get annoyed when people kick us, but there isn't a system-level control for it. Honestly, it's a great way to tell when people are trying to be disrespectful hehe. Group mods, who are the highest ranked members in the group, have different powers than global mods. Group mods can only kick and delete content, while global mods can issue suspensions and have power across groups.
