If a triangle's measure 2x, 8-x, and 3x -4, find the range of all possible values of x. A. x > 2 B. 2 > x > 6 C. 2 < x < 6 D. x > 6

OpenStudy (anonymous):

are those measure angles or sides? is this an equilateral triangle...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oops, I mean sides.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

If a triangle's sides measure 2x, 8-x, and 3x -4, find the range of all possible values of x. A. x > 2 B. 2 > x > 6 C. 2 < x < 6 D. x > 6

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i will go with B no side can be negative so therefore x can not be larger than 8 can't be less than 2 since if x = 1 than 3x-4 will be negative side

OpenStudy (anonymous):

How do you show work?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

this seems to be a logical reasoning problem. my work would be explanation to what i typed above

Alright, thanks.
