Is there any simple way to solve this or method please list? it says write a polynomial function of minimum degree in standard form with real coefficients whose zeros and their multiplicities include those listed: 1 (multiplicity 2), -2(multiplicity 3)

you don't want to do the work, do you...lol simplest way, if you don't know how to expand (x-1)^2 and (x+2)^3 separately: (x-1)(x-1)(x+2)(x+2)(x+2) (x^2-2x+1)(x^2+4x+4)(x+2) (x^2-2x+1)(x^3+2x^2+4x^2+8x+4x+8) (x^2-2x+1)(x^3+6x^2+12x+8) x^5+6x^4+12x^3+8x^2-2x^4-12x^3-24x^2-16x+x^3+6x^2+12x+8 x^5+4x^4+x^3-10x^2-4x+8
