graph y= 7x + 8

In my opinion the best way to graph a linear function is to determine it's intercepts on the axis. For that you need to convert into intercept form. \[y = 7x +8 \implies y - 7x = 8 \implies \frac{y}{8} +\frac{x}{\large\frac{-8}{7}} = 1\] Intercepts are (0,8) and \(\large ( {\frac{-8}{7}},0)\). |dw:1330235371226:dw|
