The equation of the base we could find through point-slope, finding the slope of the line through those two points and using one of the endpoints as the point (I'd use (2a,0) to have y=) We know that this is an isosceles triangle, and we were given the base of it, so the two other sides should be congruent, and one side's other endpoint is also on x=2a..
