It's an isosceles triangle, we are given AB=AC. We know that angles opposite to equal sides are equal so angle B= angle C angle C=55 (given) angle B or y=55 Now in a triangle the sum of all the angles is 180 so z+y+55=180 z+55+55=180 z=180-110=70 AD || BC x=55 ( alternate interior angles are equal)
