A weight w is suspended from a rope that is passed over a pulley. The free end of the rope is being pulled horizontally at a rate of 3ft/sec at a height of 4ft above ground level. If the pulley is at a height of 12ft and the rope is 24ft long, find how fast the weight is rising when it is 6ft above the ground.

Since the rope is moving at 3ft/sec, the weight is moving at that speed too, irrespective of height etc.
