A block of mass m1 = 2.00 kg is connected to a block of mass m2 = 6.00 kg by a light string that passes over a frictionless pulley as shown in the figure. All surfaces of the incline are frictionless and the incline has an angle θ = 30.0°. At a time t = 0 the blocks are released from rest and start to move. The motion of M1 along the horizontal is frictionless, it is the gravitational force on M2 on the incline that causes the motion of both blocks. Calculate the acceleration of the blocks and the tension in the string.
