if a circle of radius 2 is made to roll along the x-axis, what is an equation for the path of the center of the circle?

the center of the circle will draw a horizontal line parallel to x-axis, so the equation is y=2
If a circle is rolling the center of it would stay level and move to the right along the x axis. The center of the circle is 2 units from the edge of the circle. So the equation would be, y = 2
