LaTeX is not displaying for me on this site. If I go to the mathjax.org site it does display the LaTeX correctly there. Anyone else having this problem?
\[\latex\]yes, I couldn't right-click formulas earlier, and now I can't see latex at all
ok...so now I know it is not just me. ty
But now its Working http://assets.openstudy.com/updates/attachments/4f4a61a2e4b00c3c5d335a00-diyadiya-1330277201127-os.jpg
Aw naw. We load MathJax directly from the site and it looks like they've recently updated it. I had a problem viewing your latex, but then I cleared my cache, and it seems to be working. This is an unfortunate problem but, if I'm right, is kind of out of hands at the moment. Some things to try: 1) Clear your internet's cache. This should cause it to reload the new version from the MathJax sever. 2) Go directly to http://cdn.mathjax.org/mathjax/latest/unpacked/jax/input/TeX/jax.js and do a "hard refresh" (for me, on Chrome on a Mac this is Command+Shift+R. I imagine on Windows it would be Ctrl+Shift+R). Let me know if that works. Basically your browser may have an out-of-date cached version. \[ Looks good to me \]
\[<math xmlns=" http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML " display="block"> <mi>L</mi> <mi>o</mi> <mi>o</mi> <mi>k</mi> <mi>s</mi> <mi>g</mi> <mi>o</mi> <mi>o</mi> <mi>d</mi> <mi>t</mi> <mi>o</mi> <mi>m</mi> <mi>e</mi> </math>\] That is what I get when I copy your latex lol I will try to do what you say
\[\oint_{\Gamma}f(z)dz\] seem to be working here
What is a hard refresh? I refreshed that page. I cleared my cache for the last hour (should I do longer).
\[ \frac{a}{b}\] But I can't copy that Zarkon
\[\oint_{\Gamma}f(z)dz \]
got it
I was copying from the wrong thing I'm such an idiot
A hard refresh is a refresh where it requests every file again (all the html, javascript, css, images, etc). Normally, your browser will cache this stuff, which in this case is ruining things because it cached an older file but not an upgraded one. Boo. Of course, you guys can blame me, if you'd like.
I feel better now...Can't live without my \(\LaTeX\)
I can blame my "idioticness" on you matt?
Thanks matt for your help. I always appreciate it.
For those curious, this hiccup was brought to you by the newly released MathJax 2.0. It offers some pretty sweet new features, many of which should help make the site run a little smoother. In you're curious: http://www.mathjax.org/docs/2.0/whats-new-2.0.html
what is LaTeX?
not working for me let me know when it is fixed, every time i answer i get mathprocessing error
\[\times \le \ge \supset \lim_{\prod_{\int\limits_{?}^{?}}^{?} \rightarrow ?}\]
\[\sum_{k+1}^n k =\frac{n(n+1)}{2}\]
ok seem to work some time, but when i go to answer a question it does not. not sure what is happening
works now
not working for me let me know when it is fixed. satelllite73.openstudy@gmail.com or yammer too frustrating to continue
works, doesn't work, works, doesn't work very strange
satellite, in theory this should now be sorted out. The MathJax caches have been expiring slowly, but at this point it's been over 24 hours so it *should* no longer be a problem.
