Can you check my work please! ^^ 1. 9x^2yz 4rd degree trinomial Number of term: 1 Am I right. Is 9x^2yz a 4rd degree trinomial with a number of term of 1?

OpenStudy (accessdenied):

the 'nomial' part is concerning the number of terms of a polynomial, not the number of variables.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ohhh..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Is it a mononomial?

OpenStudy (accessdenied):

but, you would be correct in saying the total degree of the polynomial is 4. :) yes, this is a monomial.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

:D Thank you so much!!!! I understand now :D

OpenStudy (accessdenied):

i think the classification of number of variables would be 'multivariate', which in this case would be trivariate i dont think its important to know that term tho, i never learned it before looking up the source about multiple variable polynomials. lol
