You're all helping cause of the dog.

What you're looking for is a quadratic equation with a root of 5. Root of 5 just means it takes on the values of 0 when x=5 ex) (x - 5)(x - 5) = 0 x^2 - 10x + 25 = 0

i got two different asnwers so i dont know which one is right. when i factored it out i used 5. is that right?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

a = 1 b = -10 c = 25

OpenStudy (anonymous):

since you're only give "solution x=5" i'm assuming that x=5 can be your only root.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes thats the only number they gave us
