describe the function of each of the 3 types of RNA.
mRNA (messenger RNA) - carries genetic information from the nucleus to the cytoplasm tRNA (transfer RNA) - brings amino acids to ribosomes during protein synthesis rRNA (ribosomal RNA) - guides the translation of mRNA into a protein
mRNA- messanger RNA, it encode massage DNA to Proteins tRNA- Transfer RNA, transfer amino acid. It acts as ADAPTER between mRNA and Amino acid dyring translation. rRNA- Ribosomal RNA, Its associated with ribosome structure, Its very essential in ribosome assembly and function.
The fact you are being taught there are 3 types of RNA makes me a little sad. but, the 3 these two have listed and what they said is mostly correct.
Their are many other types RNA- sn RNA, iRNA
