ok google is open 24/7 !!

OpenStudy (ash2326):

we have first equation as \[-x+2y=-6\] Let's find x from this , which we'll substitute in 2nd to find y subtract both sides by 2y, we get \[-x=-6-2y\] multiply both sides by -1, we get \[x=6+2y \]or \[x= 2y+6\] this we have to substitute in 2nd to find y. This is your answer
