What is the difference between resistors and capacitors? Is that your question?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

mine question is what is diff between rejester and counters ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

rejester?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Registers and counters maybe? That would go to Computer Science group.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

of course but its digital and logic designs which is in physis

OpenStudy (anonymous):

its a ques of digital electronics......... a register and a counter is available in the form of ICs....... they both are nearly the same ............. their purpose of use is different. a Register is an storage device....... used to store group of bits............ whereas a counter is used to count the no of incoming clock pulses..........

OpenStudy (anonymous):

contd..... the input to a register is the data available in the form of bits.............. the input to a counter is the clock pulses generated from the event to be counted

OpenStudy (anonymous):

a register is used in the RAM IC of a computer............
