by the way, brain tumer is uncontrolled growth of brain cells which will end by solid mass

while brain infection is a disease where the brain attacked by any microorganism like bacteria, viruses ....etc

The actual underlying causes of the two different types of diseases are different. But some of the physiologic and immunologic responses are similar, depending on which actual infection and which actual brain cancers you're talking about.

So I guess the question holds water in that sense.

brain infection can be identified by doing simple test called Gram stain for the CSF which will be like examining it under the microscope and culture as well would be helpful in this,,

brain tumer can be diagnosed by the MRI as mentioned before
