PLEASE HELP!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

in the cardone gardens there is a 4 m diameter circular pond which is surrounded by a 1.5 m wide brick path. A chain fence is placed around the path with posts every 2 m

OpenStudy (anonymous):

find the length of the chains required for the fence. allow 10% extra for the sag in the chain

OpenStudy (anonymous):

If the diameter is 4 meters, the circumference is: \[4\pi\] meters. Total length is that value plus 10%: \[4.4\pi\] meters. A bit unclear though. The posts themself also take up space which means less chain is needed.

so then i would have to add both 4pie and 4pie times the 10%?
