Find the derivative and simplify your answer to factor form y= (3x^2+8)^4 ( x^3-2x+7)^5 I did it till (24x)(3x^2+8)^3 (x^3-2x+7)^5 + (15x^2-10)(3x^2+8)^4 (x^3-2x+7)^4 what do i do next

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[(3 x^2+8)^3 (x^3-2 x+7)^4 (69 x^4+42 x^2+168 x-80)\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ljensen is correct in stating to pull out the greatest common factors. Then group like terms of what is left...you are good to go.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

how come i got 24x^4 instead of 69x^4..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

There is also an \(x^4\) term from the second piece \(15\cdot 3=45\) for a combined coefficient of 69.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I dont see 15x3.. (24x)(3x^2+8)^3 (x^3-2x+7)^5 + (15x^2-10)(3x^2+8)^4 (x^3-2x+7)^4 first of all, is this right..?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I dont see any 3 there..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\(15x^2\cdot 3x^2\)

ohhh !! got it! ty very mcuh :)
