Assume a population comprising 40 individuals of frogs in the pond has grown into 80 frogs after one reproductive cycle in assumption of equal birth-death rate and no migration a)what is population growth after one reproductive cycle b) calculate rate of population growth

OpenStudy (istim):

A) Population growth: "Final population"-"Initial Population"-We wanna see how many new frogs there are. b) Rate of population growth: I might be wrong here, but is it "Final Population"/"initial population"?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I was given a formula R=(natality+immigration)-(eath+emigration)/ (initial population sizex100%) and R= (natality+immigration)-(death + emigration)/time taken for change to take place...but i don`t know how to apply the formula..

OpenStudy (istim):

Natality-Births Natality and immigration are the "rises" in the population. Death and emigration are the reductions in the population. I don't see how the formula could be applied here, as I can only see that a rise has occurred. You should state if there's any other info.

Hello?

OpenStudy (istim):

OpenStudy (anonymous):
