a 500 kg car is at rest at the top of a hill which is 50.0m high. Calculate the energy of the car at the top of the hill.. tried asking for an answer on physics group but have gotten no replies.. please help!

sam (.sam.):

Potential energy = mass x gravitational field strength x height = 500 x 9.81 x 50 = 245250 J Kinetic energy = 1/2 x mass x velocity^2 (squared) = 193210 J
