dicuss why lymph nodes often become secondary cancer sites, espically with respect to metastasizing cancerous?

OpenStudy (blues):

Cancer cells travel through lymphatic vessles and lymph notes are filters in those vessels. So metastasizing cancer cells tend to lodge there. And there are other mechanisms which enables certain types of cancer to preferentially grow in lymph nodes, but that has to do with the cancer cell's tissue of origin. It actually helps teachers help you understand the question (and give you a helpful answer) if you also post up what specifically you don't understand about it, or post up your best guess and let us check it. ;D
