how would i go about factoring this? 2d^3+8d+12

OpenStudy (turingtest):

first factor out a 2 then find a pair of numbers that add to the coefficient of the middle term, and multiply to the last term those numbers will be your a and b in the form (x+a)(x+b)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i got to 2(d^3+4d+6) isnt that all i can do?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It can only be factored like this 2(d³ + 4d + 6) or this d(2d² + 8)+12

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so im done?

OpenStudy (anonymous):
