Part 1: Create and provide the dimensions for two similar figures of your choosing. Part 2: What is the similarity ratio of these figures along with the ratio of their surface area and volume? Part 3: Show your work, either using the actual volumes or using the formula, that the volume ratio is true. These are my written out values: Part 1: rectangular prism with dimensions l=20 w=30 h=16 smaller one is l=10 w=15 h=8

Show me what you hvae done already please

Umm. I was thinking of just using the heights as a ratio and then squaring them so... 8^2/16^2 is 64/256 as my ratio for the surface area?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

First you have to find 2 dimensions like a cube, rectangular prism, etc... then you have to make up side numbers for each side the height, length, and width. Figure out the volume and then compare the two volumes by putting it in a ratio.

My numbers at the top are my made up side numbers... which ones do I use to find the surface area?
