What were 5 accomplishments of the Treaty of Versailles?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Five things that the treaty provided for were: 1) Paved the way for the formation of the League of Nations 2) The German military could not exceed 100,000 members 3) Germany lost a number of lands and colonies to the victors; for example, Alsace Lorraine was given to France 4) Germany had to admit full responsibility for starting the war 5) Germany was slammed with massive war reparations - they basically had to pay an exorbitant price in terms of resources and cash to the victors. This was not a popular clause in the Treaty and some ambassadors balked at what they saw as a punitive treatment of Germany. German marks became nearly worthless in the years ahead.
