Write the equation of the line that passes through (2, 4) and (1, –3) in slope-intercept form

Directrix (directrix):

y = 7x + (-10) http://www.basic-mathematics.com/slope-calculator.html

hero (hero):

Directrix, whenever you make a mistake (and trust me) you will make one. I'll be happy to point it out to you.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

directrix explain it dont just show the answer

Directrix (directrix):

I've made 4 mistakes already tonight including that dilation thing. Sorry to have offended you.

Directrix (directrix):

@ Clairr --> Questions?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

y-y1=m(x-x1)

hero (hero):

I'm not sure if that dilation thing was a mistake. Some books teach that Y is the original image and Y' the dilated image. Other books teach something else.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

find the slope using both points and you can use either one for x1 and y1

thanks for the link!

You are welcome.
