I need help on dividing polynomials

OpenStudy (anonymous):

14X+6X3\[14X+6X ^{3}-15-19X ^{2}\div3X ^{2}-2X+4\]

OpenStudy (ash2326):

we have \[\frac{(6x^3-19x^2+14x-15)}{3x^2-2x+4}\] now we have 2x ----------------------------------- 3x^2-2x+4 | 6x^3-19x^2+14x-15 -( 6x^3-4x^2+8x) 0-15x^2+6x-15 2x-5 ----------------------------------- 3x^2-2x+4 | 6x^3-19x^2+14x-15 -( 6x^3-4x^2+8x) -15x^2+6x-15 -( -15x^2+10x-20) 0 -4x +5 so 2x-5 is the quotient and -4x+5 is the remainder

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thanks I still dont know how to do it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so you just divide each one on the second line

thank you!
