The answer is A. Unless I'm missing something, I don't see how this isn't a simple application of Newton's laws.

According To Newtons 3rd Law Of Motion evry action has equal and oppsite reaction so the answer should be A i.e. The force exerted on the truck by the passenger car is equal in magnitude to the force exerted on the passenger car by the truck.
