if i am citing the diaries of virginia woolf would i cite it as a book or a collection or as an edition of a book??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

did you just use a single book? if that was the case then it would be a book, a collection would be if you used many books from that series Edition probably isn't right because thats like publication date. 1st edition would be when the book was first printed, 2nd would be when some printing/publication mistakes were made like punctuation/spelling/etc. and they would fix them. and if you need help citing easybib.com will cite it for you if you input the information you need
