\[J=\int F\Delta t\approx \sum F\Delta t\] Where J is the impulse. The integral (sum) is the area under the curve, which is easy to eyeball. Now recall that \(J=\Delta p\) This allows you work out the change in momentum, and thus the final velocity. The average force is defined by \(F_{avg}\Delta t= J\)
