How do I calculate to find the Gravitational force? with a mass of 10kg?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Fg=mg m=10kg g=9.81 m/s/s fill into equation :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Force is measured in Newtons (N) as well! or (kg)m/s/s

Thanks so much!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

multiply the force with 'g'

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[F=G\frac{mM}{r^2}=ma\] If you work out the whole force equation with the mass and the radius of Earth, you get the same answer as setting a = g and just multiplying by the mass, as already suggested.
