quadratic is fine too speed is meters so use gravity as -9.8 h(t)= -g/2 t^2 +Vsin(2)t

the vertex of this parabola is then: Vsin(2)/g

so the question becomes; what is the height relative to? in this equation its relative to the starting height ... whatever that may be
