particle is projected from a point O on a horizontal plane with speed 35m/s at an angle of elevation α , where tan α =2. Find the maximum height above the plane of the particle and the equation of its trajectory.

for the equation of its trajectory.. can we use linear equation to solve?
quadratic is fine too speed is meters so use gravity as -9.8 h(t)= -g/2 t^2 +Vsin(2)t
the vertex of this parabola is then: Vsin(2)/g
so the question becomes; what is the height relative to? in this equation its relative to the starting height ... whatever that may be
thanks
